Caldo Silent PoolPool heat pump that heats and cools

To extend the swimming season in home pools of 20 to 130 m³, the Caldo Silent Pool heats water up to 40 °C and can also cool it down to 9 °C. Its spiral titanium heat exchanger and ABS casing resist corrosion, and the Smart Life app lets you manage this pool heat pump remotely.

Heats and cools

It heats pool water from 9 to 40 °C and cools it from 9 to 35 °C, at air temperatures between −7 and 43 °C.

COP up to 7.4

COP ranges from 4.8 to 7.4 depending on model and conditions, and reaches 6.50 at 50% capacity, with a Panasonic compressor and R32 refrigerant.

Titanium and ABS

The spiral titanium heat exchanger suits water treated with chlorine or salt, and the ABS casing resists corrosion. Installation uses PVC pipework and a Φ50 connection.

Smart Life control

The heat pump can be controlled remotely through the Smart Life app. Every model runs on a 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase supply, with no three-phase connection needed.

How to choose the right model

Choose by water volume: 10 kW for 20–40 m³, 11 kW for 25–50 m³, 14 kW for 30–60 m³, 17 kW for 40–75 m³ and 20 kW for 55–100 m³. For the largest pools, the 24 and 33 kW models cover 70–130 m³ and the 28 kW model 60–120 m³. Also check that your filtration delivers the advised water flow, from 2–4 m³/h on the smallest model to 12–16 m³/h on the largest. Have a qualified installer confirm the final sizing.

How quiet is the Caldo Silent Pool?

At 10 metres, sound pressure ranges from 18–25 dB(A) on the 10 kW model to 26–35 dB(A) on the 33 kW; at 1 metre, from 38–48 to 45–57 dB(A). Values for every model are listed in the technical data, and the unit's position also affects the noise you hear.

Does the pool heat pump work with saltwater pools?

Yes. The spiral titanium heat exchanger resists corrosion and suits pool water treated with chlorine or salt, and the ABS casing is corrosion-resistant too. Installation should use PVC pipework and respect the advised water flow for each model.

Can I use the Caldo Silent Pool outside the summer?

Yes. It operates at air temperatures from −7 to 43 °C, so it can heat the pool in spring and autumn too. As with any heat pump, output and COP vary with air temperature; the COP of 4.8 to 7.4 refers to standard test conditions.

What power supply does the Caldo Silent Pool need?

Every model, from 10 to 33 kW, runs on a 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase supply and uses a Panasonic compressor. Power consumption ranges from 1.43–3.21 kW on the 10 kW model to 5.29–7.02 kW on the 33 kW. Your installer should size the electrical protection accordingly.
