Up to 92 kW heating

The 92 kW model delivers 35.2 to 92 kW of heating at 30/35 °C with a COP of up to 5.02; the 50 kW model delivers 18.4 to 49.25 kW.

Hot water to 78 °C

Domestic hot water and heating water both reach 78 °C, with an output of 1,462 or 2,580 litres per hour and a DHW COP of up to 5.62.

Natural R290 refrigerant

A 4.0 kg R290 charge in the 50 kW model and 8.0 kg in the 92 kW, with a Highly compressor. As R290 is flammable (class A3), qualified technicians are required.

Heating and cooling

Reversible operation supplies chilled water from 7 to 30 °C, with 13.8–34.5 kW or 25–66 kW of cooling and an EER of up to 2.8. It runs at outdoor temperatures from −25 to 43 °C.

The series has two models, both on a 380–415 V three-phase supply. The 50 kW model produces 1,462 L/h of hot water, needs a 40 A circuit breaker and weighs 370 kg. The 92 kW model reaches 2,580 L/h, needs an 80 A breaker, weighs 745 kg and measures 2510 × 979 × 1882 mm. Compare these figures with the building's heat demand and peak hot water consumption. The 50 kW model produces 1,462 litres of hot water per hour and the 92 kW model 2,580 litres per hour. Under 15/55 °C test conditions, DHW capacity is 23.8–68 kW and 40.0–120 kW respectively, and water can reach 78 °C. Hot water is stored in cylinders sized for the building.

Can an industrial heat pump run radiators?

Yes. The Caldo Commercial Duo supplies heating water from 20 to 78 °C, a temperature suited to radiators in existing buildings. Efficiency rises as water temperature falls, so the design should set the lowest flow temperature that still keeps the building comfortable.

What electrical supply does the Caldo Commercial Duo need?

A 380–415 V, 50–60 Hz three-phase supply. The 50 kW model has a maximum power consumption of 20 kW, a maximum current of 32 A, a 40 A breaker and a 10 mm² cable; the 92 kW model needs 40 kW, 64 A, an 80 A breaker and a 22 mm² cable.
