Applications

Where it fits

Home comfort with natural R290 refrigerant, Wi-Fi control and hot water up to 75°C.

  • Villas with existing radiators
  • Heating system renovation projects
  • Large homes with underfloor heating
  • Households with high hot water demand

Radiators up to 70 °C

The heating circuit runs on water from 20 to 70 °C, and the series reaches a maximum water temperature of 75 °C. A sound basis for radiators and renovation work.

Natural R290 refrigerant

R290 (propane) has a very low GWP. Because it is flammable (class A3), installation and servicing must be carried out by qualified technicians.

SCOP up to 4.69

Under EN 14825, SCOP at 35 °C flow ranges from 4.60 to 4.69 (ηs up to 184.6%). At 55 °C flow it stays between 3.37 and 3.55.

Hot water and Wi-Fi

Produces 159 to 377 litres of hot water per hour depending on the model, with Wi-Fi and IoT control. It uses a Highly compressor and a Shimge water pump.

How to choose the right model

There are four models: 8, 11 and 15 kW on a 230 V single-phase supply, and 22 kW on a 380 V three-phase supply. Heating capacity at 30/35 °C runs from 3.3–8.3 kW on the smallest model to 8.8–22.0 kW on the largest, while hot water output rises from 159 to 377 litres per hour. With radiators, allow for a higher water temperature and an SCOP of 3.37–3.55 at 55 °C. Have a qualified installer confirm the final sizing.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on how heat pumps work, efficiency, installation and choosing a Caldorelli series.

Talk to a specialist

Is the Caldo Boost a good heat pump for radiators?

Yes, it is the series designed for that job: the heating circuit runs on water from 20 to 70 °C. Radiators typically work at temperatures such as 55 °C, where the Caldo Boost still achieves an SCOP of 3.37 to 3.55 under EN 14825. An installer should check that your existing radiators heat each room well.

Why choose an R290 heat pump?

R290 is propane, a natural refrigerant with a very low GWP, which reduces the system's environmental impact. In the Caldo Boost the charge ranges from 0.95 to 1.45 kg depending on the model. Because it is flammable (class A3), installation must respect safety distances and be carried out by qualified technicians.

How much hot water does the Caldo Boost produce?

It delivers 159 L/h with the 8 kW model, 219 L/h with the 11 kW, 283 L/h with the 15 kW and 377 L/h with the 22 kW. Under 15/55 °C test conditions, DHW COP ranges from 3.51 to 4.71. Hot water is stored in a cylinder such as the Solitank or Enamel TSE-VS HP.

Can the Caldo Boost also cool?

Yes. It is reversible and produces chilled water from 7 to 35 °C, with cooling capacity from 2.4–5.8 kW on the 8 kW model to 6.2–15.3 kW on the 22 kW, and an EER of 2.65 to 3.12. Cooling is delivered through fan coils or underfloor systems designed for cooling.
