Applications

Where it fits

Heating for hotel pools, sports facilities and other commercial spaces, from 40 to 500 m³.

  • Hotel and holiday resort pools
  • Pools at water parks
  • Leisure centres and sports clubs
  • Pools from 40 to 500 m³

COP of 6.0 to 6.2

All six models have a nominal COP between 6.0 and 6.2: the 26 kW model draws 4.2 kW of nominal power input and the 145 kW model 23.8 kW.

Titanium heat exchanger

The titanium heat exchanger in a PVC housing resists corrosion and suits water treated with chlorine or salt. Installation uses PVC pipework.

Water up to 43 °C

It supplies pool water at up to 43 °C and operates at air temperatures from −7 to 43 °C, with IPX4 protection for outdoor installation.

Built for high flow rates

Nominal water flow from 11.2 to 62.4 m³/h, with a G1½″ female connection on the 26 kW model, G2″ female on the 52 and 75 kW, and a DN110 PVC flange from 100 kW up.

How to choose the right model

The range covers pools of 40 to 500 m³ with six sizes: 26, 52, 75, 100, 121 and 145 kW. The right choice depends on pool volume, target water temperature, whether a cover is used and whether the pool is indoor or outdoor. Also check the nominal water flow, from 11.2 m³/h on the 26 kW model to 62.4 m³/h on the 145 kW, and the 380–400 V three-phase supply. Have a qualified installer confirm the final sizing.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on how heat pumps work, efficiency, installation and choosing a Caldorelli series.

Talk to a specialist

Which heat pump should I choose for a hotel pool?

The Caldo Commercial Pool is designed for pools of 40 to 500 m³ in hotels, water parks and sports facilities. Models range from 26 to 145 kW with a COP of 6.0 to 6.2. The right size depends on pool volume, water temperature and heat losses, and should be calculated by a professional.

Does the commercial pool heat pump work with saltwater?

Yes. The titanium heat exchanger, housed in PVC, resists corrosion and suits water treated with chlorine or salt. Water connections range from a G1½″ female fitting on the 26 kW model to a DN110 PVC flange on the 100, 121 and 145 kW models, and installation uses PVC pipework.

What power supply does the Caldo Commercial Pool need?

Every model needs a 380–400 V, 50 Hz three-phase supply. Nominal power input ranges from 4.2 kW on the 26 kW model to 23.8 kW on the 145 kW. The electrical design should be carried out by a qualified professional based on these values.

Can the Caldo Commercial Pool heat a pool all year round?

Yes, it is designed for year-round use: it operates at air temperatures from −7 to 43 °C and supplies water at up to 43 °C. In colder air, output and COP vary, so the unit should be sized for local winter conditions and for whether the pool is covered.
